Founder’s Message

A LOCAL FOOD WITH EXTERNAL FLAVORS

“I did it!” Having you reaching this website and reading my message means that I succeeded to gain your kind interest! This makes me very proud and please accept my warmest welcome to “Khajoor” world, my mini dream. Let me share with you my short story as an IT engineer who turned to be a catering Entrepreneur!
In 2012, I had the opportunity to attend my friend’s wedding in India and knowing the kind generosity that I always get from my friends there, I was fully prepared with some presents as a simple gesture to return their kindness.
I have chosen “Dates” to be my present to all, which is a representable gift from my culture, taking into consideration that my hometown “Al Ahsa” is the largest date palm oasis in the world, so the dates quality would be absolutely great for any taster. I was pleasantly surprised with the impressive appreciation I got from all the friends after receiving my gifts!
Additionally, more friends asked me to bring them more dates for their families either in my next visits or through other friends who will be visiting India sooner to that time. Guess what! After sometime, I became almost a dates dealer with an endless demand, therefore, I started to think seriously about “dates business”.
My idea was to have a Saudi product under an Urdu name, a local food with external flavors. That combination aims to be an extra bridge between the two great food cultures, Arab and subcontinent. So, our customer will have a totally different experience, the Arab customer will have the opportunity to taste his own dates with new flavors and additions, while our customers from India, Pakistan or Bangladesh will try a new sweet and natural food with recipes from their cultures. The other part of the experience is the Quality + Price, the concept of “Khajoor” is to provide the highest quality of dates with very affordable prices to all customers. You might ask how are we going to do that? Our answer is simply to depend on the variety of dates and allow our customer to customize the condition of the dates based on his/her desire.
We are just like palm trees, the more water we get, the faster we grow and get you better dates, so please don’t hesitate to feed us with your valuable opinion and comments.

Khajoor meaning dates in Urdu with a shape of palm tree inspired by an art of typographic rendering of the words “Khajoor” in Urdu and English which reflects who we are and presents a better quality we deliver to our people.
Also, Khajoor Logo consists of Urdu and English letters coloured in green and gold with green Palm tree placed on top.
